I hope you all had a good and fruitful Earth Day! We had our first Terrophany event with a clean-up of one of the Woodlots on York's campus, organized through facebook.
I'm not sure how many of you have iPods or iTunes, but I've recently discovered podcasts, and wanted to share them with everyone. They all seem to be free, and there's a lot of great educational/interesting material out there! To subscribe you don't have to pay any money, but I do think you have to have a registered iTunes account (and you need a credit card to do that I believe).
One of the podcasts that might interest some of you is called TreeHugger Radio. According to their description "TreeHugger Radio is the weekly audio podcast of TreeHugger.com, the web’s leading environmental lifestyle blog. Each week, host Simran Sethi covers the latest green news from around the world along with views, perspectives, and extended interviews with top experts and cutting-edge pioneers." It's definitely worth checking out!
By the way, if you read this entry, it would be great if you could post a reply... with other podcasts, websites, tips... even just saying hi.
I hope you all have a great couple of weeks, and look I forward to hearing from you soon!
